It just felt right in 2022 and it still feels right in 2023; that's why Suzuki Australia is pleased to announce it has recommitted to the NSW Swifts as the Club's Official Automotive Partner for the 2023 Suncorp Super Netball campaign.
Recommitting to the seven-time Premiers for another 12 months, the "S" logo will feature prominently on the playing dress again in 2023.
Suzuki first joined up with the Swifts in 2022, and the relationship has blossomed since.
"We love how fun and vibrant our partnership with Suzuki is," Kath Tetley, Executive General Manager of the Swifts, said.
"To be honest it was always going to be a great fit. You have an iconic company - which produces a popular car like the Swift – joining forces with some of the best personalities in Australian sport.
"Suzuki's campaigns with the Swifts have always been fun, edgy and engaging, and that resonates really well with our fan-base. We are super excited to have them back on deck."
Robert Rosengarten, Marketing Manager at Suzuki Australia, said the company was really pleased with how the partnership has developed.
"Last year was our first taste of Super Netball with the Swifts and it was a brilliant experience," Rosengarten said.
"It gave us a real insight into just how popular the game and Club is, not just in NSW but all over the country and we are delighted to be on board again in 2023.
"Obviously we both have deep links to the word 'Swift' but our shared values go beyond this and are presented by the Swifts players every time they hit the court.
"They are world-class athletes leading the way for women in sport in Australia but they aren't afraid to show their personality. When they play, they play with a smile and bring their own vibe to the court and that really connects with our 'For Fun's Sake' mantra.
"It's gearing up to be a huge year and we cannot wait to see what's in store."
Yael Reed, Netball NSW Executive General Manager – Commercial & Marketing, also welcomed Suzuki back for 2023.
"Suzuki have been really important partners since coming on board and I would like to thank them for their continued investment in the Swifts," she said.
The Swifts' 2023 Super Netball season starts on Saturday 18 March when they face the Collingwood Magpies at Melbourne's John Cain Arena.
