Peugeot Citroën Australia (PCA) has announced the appointment of Tyson Bowen to the position of National PR and Corporate Communications Manager, PCA.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director of PCA, Anouk Poelmann, Tyson will oversee all public relations and communications activities for both Peugeot and Citroën.

Commencing January 15, Tyson brings 14 years public relations experience to the role – including over a decade within the automotive industry.

Tyson returns to Peugeot and Citroën, now distributed by Inchcape, after almost a year and a half as General Manager of specialist automotive agency MSR Group.

Prior to MSR Group, Tyson held public relations positions at Peugeot and Citroën Australia, and Lexus Australia.

Earlier to working within the automotive industry, Tyson held public relations positions spanning; travel, finance, IT and telecommunications industries.

Speaking of the appointment, Anouk Poelmann said Mr Bowen was joining the organisation at a significant turning point in the marques Australian history.

"Peugeot and Citroën are some of Australia's, if not the world's, most storied automotive brands and Tyson's enthusiasm, knowledge and reputation will assist us in rebuilding the marques profiles locally,

"2018 will be a significant period in Peugeot and Citroën's Australian history, with some fantastic product backing up a new distributor and refreshed national dealer network – under Inchcape's stewardship," said Poelmann.

Tyson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Western Sydney, coupled with significant motorsport and engineering experience.
