Leading tyre maker Kumho has launched a new and highly affordable tyre brand to provide better quality tyres to budget conscious motorists.

The new brand, Marshal Tyres, will initially boast two entry-level products for small, medium and large passenger cars.

According to Kumho Tyre Australia national marketing and training manager David Basha, the introduction of Marshal Tyres means saving money without compromising quality.

"Kumho is conscious that not everyone can afford products in the top end of the market," said David Basha.

"Marshal Tyres boasts Kumho's high levels of quality for an even more cost effective price and are the best possible combination of quality and price."

Marshal's flagship tyre, the Matrac XM KH35 is a high performance tyre that also delivers a comfortable ride.

The KH35 is available in 15 sizes ranging from 177/65/R15 to 235/40/R18.

The asymmetrical tread design delivers high grip levels and performance handling.

Tie bars between tread blocks strengthen the tyre and reduce flex in order to ensure a long lasting, durable tyre.

The Matrac MH11 is a touring tyre for small cars such as the Holden Barina, Suzuki Swift and Mazda 2.

The MH11 is available in a 14 inch 175/65 or 185/65 sizes with a directional tread pattern.

A rigid central rib offers stability at highway speed while also providing a smooth, comfortable and quiet ride.

Four longitudinal grooves deliver exceptional water channeling to reduce the risk of aquaplaning.

"Marshal tyres have been designed and produced by Kumho to ensure price is not a factor when it comes to fitting reliable, quality tyres," said David.

Marshal tyres are only available at Tyrepower and Kumho's Platinum and master dealers.
