• Chrome Temple launches, Australian-first, content-lead sales service with Curated
  • Curated by Chrome Temple brings to life the beauty and passion of automobiles
  • An off-market only option is available for sellers wanting utmost discretion
  • First vehicle to be offered through Curated sells before public listing via member-only offering
  • Four Curated vehicles are being prepared for initial subscriber offering in January 2022

Australia's premier automotive ecosystem Chrome Temple launches Curated for rare, highly collectible and high-end or story-rich vehicles. The new Curated service will complement Chrome Temple's existing Motors, Investments, and Storage + Transport services.

Curated has been established to support the sale of new-to-market or market-first vehicles and will focus on conveying a vehicle's story and the aesthetic beauty behind every automotive work of art via tailored content.

Curated is an individually managed sales service and will deliver content more akin to a high-end automotive publication, rather than that of a purely transactional environment devoid of context, passion and emotion, an experience so common with existing vehicle sales channels.

Given the unique and highly collectable nature of the vehicles on offer, each go-to-market and content strategy will be developed with a price-on-application focus. Furthermore, an off-market only option is available to owners wishing for utmost discretion when selling their vehicle.

Chrome Temple Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Lex Pedersen said "The launch of Curated by Chrome Temple brings to life a level of customer experience, discretion, content and support unavailable anywhere in the local automotive market,"

"Chrome Temple was founded on the premise of offering a better way to buy, sell, store or invest in vehicles of distinction. The introduction of Curated is just further proof of our focus on finding a better way to serve our customers and community," said Pedersen.

Alongside Chrome Temple Motors' (CTm) array of industry-first sales services, including Safe Settlement, Curated will combine peerless quality imagery and video with bespoke editorial copy and a tailored go-to-market strategy to support each vehicle. In addition to CTm's Listed service, each Curated vehicle will gain a custom webpage to support the sales process.

Curated vehicles will also be offered first to Chrome Temple's investment fund (CTi) investors, collectors and passionate network of buyers, with the unique opportunity to buy the vehicle pre-market.

Chrome Temple Motors General Manager and Co-Founder, Alex Rogers explains "Every vehicle and owner has a story to tell, regardless of whether it's an extremely rare supercar or a life-long build project. Curated is about protecting and realising vehicle value through the use of high-quality content and smart go-to-market sales strategy,"

This go-to-market process proved successful in early December with the first Curated sale of a 1990 Porsche 964. Lovingly re-engineered to encapsulate the owner's interpretation of the ultimate air-cooled Porsche, the no-expense-spared Porsche 964 sold within five hours of being offered to Chrome Temple Motors subscribers, successfully achieving the owner's asking price.

"Our initial plans were to launch Curated with the 1990 Porsche 964 and with the success of the sale, we've had to fast-track the next round of vehicles. The reception to the first Curated sale proves the market wants a service like this and we are certain the upcoming vehicles will prove just as popular," said Alex Rogers.

Chrome Temple is now preparing four further Curated sales, including an exquisitely re-engineered 1951 Ford F-1 with just 27 kilometres since completion, immaculately presented and unmodified 1st generation Dodge Viper and appreciating modern classics, a Ferrari F12 and a Mercedes AMG GT R. Before the launch of Curated, Chrome Temple Motors had presided over the sale of some of Australia's most collectible, desirable and storied vehicles including a 1995 Lamborghini Diablo 5.7 V12 RWD, 1-of-50 1992 Ferrari 512 TR Australian delivered RHD, 1-of-93 Limited Edition 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 Tommy Kaira, 2017 Aston Martin Vantage Red Bull Edition and a 1998 Ferrari F355 GTS F1.
