    CUPRA's Born arrives in Australia already a best seller
    Response to the initial allocation of 400 Borns made available for sale online before Christmas was such that a total 600 and then 700 were allocated by the factory.
    Of those some 500 have sold and ordering is now unrestricted. Born - a large, rear-wheel-drive hatchback – is not only the first the first relatively affordable BEV of its type to reach Australia, it has the longest range for the most attainable price: up to 511km* between recharging for $59,990 plus on-road costs.

    Born ready: CUPRA Australia secures more of its breakthrough BEV
    Sydney 13-02-2023 – With almost all of its initial allocation of 400 Born battery electric vehicles sold, CUPRA has secured a further 200 cars for Australian customers to pre-order. Some 35 Borns remain from the first allotment of 400 that went on sale in late December.
    Deliveries of CUPRA's halo car begin in April.
    On Friday, CUPRA's factory signalled that an additional 200 Borns have been made available. These can be ordered online for delivery from later in 2023.

    A star is BORN - Australian production of CUPRA's battery electric car starts in November; on sale early 2023
    CUPRA's revolutionary Born battery electric vehicle will soon be on its way to Australia, the brand's CEO and President Wayne Griffiths confirmed today.
    "Last year in Munich I expressed my determination to get the CUPRA Born to Australia as soon as possible," Mr Griffiths said.
