- Audi Dealer network continues to deliver outstanding results across the business
Zetland, 4. April 2023 – Audi Australia has celebrated the outstanding efforts of its National Dealer Network at the 2022 Dealer of the Year Awards hosted by Audi Ambassador, Melissa Doyle and Director of Audi Australia, Jeff Mannering. Held at Melbourne's Carousel, amidst preparations for the Formula 1 Australian Gran Prix, the 16th annual Audi Dealer of the Year Awards recognised the network's outstanding successes from the past 12 months.
It was an opportunity for Audi Australia to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding achievements of their dealer partners in 2022, particularly in the face of supply chain and logistical challenges that were no match for the Audi network here in Australia.
"It is so important for us to take the time to celebrate our network and to recognise some outstanding performances from 2022. Audi Dealer of the Year is a title I am honoured to present to the best of the best; to those who represent the benchmark in service, in sales, and in experience for everyone who interacts with our brand," said Jeff Mannering, Director of Audi Australia.
"No matter what challenges we faced, I extend my thanks to all of our partners for their resilience and their patience when faced with a tough environment. Most importantly however, I want to thank all of our dealers for their passion for the Audi brand."
To a resounding cheer from their peers, Audi Solitaire took out the top spot for the Major Metropolitan category for Dealer of the Year, while Audi Sutherland claimed first place in the Metro category. Audi Alto Central Coast claimed first place in the Provincial category, followed by Audi Centre Townsville who took home first place in the Rural category.
In addition to the overall Audi Dealer of the Year categories, the evening also saw the presentation of the Audi Foundation award, which recognises dealerships' engagement with the Audi Foundation's charity partners, encouraging the network to give back to their regions and Australian communities. This year, the Audi Foundation Award was presented to three winners rather than the customary one, reflecting the locale categories of Dealer of the Year and illustrating the far-reaching impact of their efforts throughout the year.
Audi Centre Perth was awarded the Audi Foundation Award for Major Metro, Audi Alto for Pennant Hills took home first place for Metropolitan and Audi Alto Macarthur was awarded the Audi Foundation Award for the Provincial category. Doug Taylor, CEO of Smith Family was in attendance to represent the Audi Foundation charity partner and helped present the award to the well-deserving winners.
